Film Notes: AMC-Loews plans marathon of Oscar nominees
For the sixth year, AMC theaters will bundle the nine best picture Oscar nominees into a two-day movie marathon. Seven select theaters will show all nine back to back and 100-plus theaters, including the AMC-Loews at the Waterfront, will show four movies Feb. 18 and the remaining five Feb. 25, a day before the 84th Academy Awards.
